Christian Chautard started his career supervising operations for two leading groups in the metallurgy industry. He studied at the École Polytechnique-Paris and holds an MBA from INSEAD. In 1982 he started to work as a strategy, organization, and governance consultant for executive officers of international groups. He has worked in Europe and in the United States and also has deep knowledge of Germany and its business practices. Currently he is Chairman of the Korian Supervisory Board, Member of the Investment Committee, and Member of the Ethics and Risk Committee. The Korian Group operates more than 700 nursing homes with 45,000 employees in France, Germany, Italy, and Belgium. Chautard lives in Heidelberg and commutes between Germany and Paris.
