Steve Kloehn is vice president for Marketing and Communications at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Among his responsibilities are media relations, internal communications, publications, integrated marketing, digital strategy, and creative services. Before taking his current position, he worked as Associate Vice President for news and public affairs at the University of Chicago for several years, and was a writer, columnist and editor at the Chicago Tribune as well as several newspapers in New England. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Princeton University.
